Priyanka Chopra had a gala time performing Bihu in Assam

After being on a promotional spree for her international series Quantico, desi girl Priyanka Chopra is back in India. And no the actress is not in Mumbai, she landed in Assam where she will be apparently shooting for the state’s tourism campaign.

While leaving for the state, the actress shared an image on her Instagram page and captioned it as, “My one constant…travel. Different places…different people…different worlds. This time I’m in #AwesomeAssamin India ??. The actress also shared a video clip where in she is trying her hand at performing Bihu, the folk dance of Assam with few girls. Priyanka captioned the video as, “The part I enjoy the most… joining in the fun! These young ladies put on an amazing performance for me and it was great to see their confidence and excitement towards life. This is in large part because they are in a school environment that keeps them safe. They are in charge of building their own futures…their own lives. Keeping a girl in school has so many positives, especially seeing them happy and thriving. A great start to my trip to #AwesomeAssam”
