With the recent protests happening about the Citizenship Amendment Act, Bollywood celebs are coming ahead and voicing out their support. Recently, actress Priyanka Chopra opened up about the students and other protestors being treated with violence for having a voice.

Priyanka took to her twitter and wrote that education for every child is our dream. Education is what empowered them to think independently. She wrote that that have been raised by us to have a voice. She said that living in a democracy and being treated with violence to have a voice is absolutely wrong. She wrote, “Every voice counts. And each voice will work towards changing India. #HaveVoiceWillRaise #HaveVoiceMustRaise (sic).

Meanwhile, on the work front, Priyanka Chopra was last seen in ‘The Sky Is Pink’ that also starred Farhan Akhtar, Rohit Saraf, and Zaira Wasim. The movie did not do well at the box-office but was critically acclaimed. Next, she will be seen in ‘The White Tiger’ in which she will star opposite Rajkummar Rao.
