On Thursday, appealing to everyone to come forward and help raise money for the Covid-19 relief, Priyanka and Nick had shared a video message. The actress had captioned the video as, “#TogetherForIndia…. Thank you all for your support and donations. Your contributions are going to make a tangible difference in this fight against the vicious spread of Covid 19 in India. There is so much left to do and we hope that this momentum we have built will continue. Please donate now. Link in Bio(sic).”

Katrina Kaif amplified PeeCee’s appeal by sharing her initiative on her Instagram stories. Tagging Nick and Priyanka in her stories, Katrina wrote, “Great initiative.” Priyanka later even thanked Katrina for her shoutout.

In another video, sharing why we all need to care about what’s going on, Priyanka had said, “India, my home, is suffering the world’s worst Covid crisis, and we all need to help! People are dying in record numbers. There is illness everywhere, and it’s only continuing to spread and kill at great speed and scale. Please please donate. Nick and I already have and will continue to contribute. We have all seen how far and wide this virus can spread, an ocean between us makes no difference. No one is safe unless everyone is safe. It’s so heartening to see so many people stepping up to help in so many ways. We need to beat this virus, and to do that requires ALL of us.”
