Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas become proud parents: Farhan Akhtar, Katrina Kaif & others send love

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have welcomed their first child via surrogacy. The couple took to their respective social media handles to share the happy news with the world. PeeCee and Nick’s announcement read, “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogacy. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much.”

Soon after, many celebrities and their loved ones couldn’t resist congratulating the couple on the arrival of their first baby. Bhumi Pednekar wrote: “❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Congratulations @priyankachopra @nickjonas,” Katrina Kaif commented: “Congratsssssssssss ❤️,” Pooja Hegde also wrote: “Congratulations ? Sending you all loads of love and light! ❤️” YouTube star Lilly Singh stated, “AYE!!!!!!!! Can’t wait to cuddle them!!!”

Meanwhile, according to a report in TMZ, the couple’s baby was born on Saturday in a Southern California hospital via surrogacy. Further, the report added that the the two have been blessed with a baby girl.

The duo got married in December 2018 after a few months of dating. They have been married for three years. NickYanka got married in Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, India in 2018. They held two weddings, one Hindu and one Christian over the course of five days to celebrate each of their traditions which was attended by their friends and family.

On the work front, Chopra will next be seen in Citadel. The actress will also be seen collaborating with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif for Bollywood film, Jee Le Zaraa.
