Priyanka Chopra shares her views on the Matrix series; Gives a better look at her character: Watch

Priyanka Chopra, who will be seen next in The Matrix Resurrections, was recently featured in a new promotional video of the upcoming science-fiction film. While we don’t know anything about her character, thanks to this video we got a better look at her character as she was previously seen very briefly in the film’s first trailer. In the video, the star cast talks about the legacy of the Matrix trilogy and shares their views on the impactful movies of the series so far.

In the clip, we can see Priyanka, wearing an elaborate costume and with her hair tied up in space buns. In the video, she said, “It’s this amazing, magical, mythological world that has been created using numbers and digits, but it’s actually about consciousness, it’s actually about thought.”

Priyanka, who earlier said that she is ‘just a small fish in a huge pond’ in The Matrix Resurrections, apparently is playing the character of Sati. Yes, many fan theories online are suggesting that she might be a grown-up version of Sati, the child who had been put under the Oracle’s care in the third film of the franchise, The Matrix Revolutions.

Speaking of the movie, the same is the fourth installment in the seminal sci-fi series starring Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss in lead roles. While Lawrence Fishburne will not be seen in Resurrections, both Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss reprised their roles as Neo and Trinity, respectively. The other cast members are Neil Patrick Harris, Jessica Henwick and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II among others. Directed by Lana Wachowski, the sci-fi drama is all set to release on December 22 in theatres and on HBO Max. Lana co-directed and co-wrote the first three Matrix installments with sister Lilly Wachowski.
