After Priyanka Chopra walked out of ‘Bharat’, the actress is now all set to make her Bollywood comeback with Shonali Bose’s ‘The Sky Is Pink’. The actress will share the silver screen with Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim in the film.
PeeCee, who is back in the city has finally begun shooting for the film along with her co-stars. The actress shared the news on her Instagram with a photo and a caption which read, “I’m so excited and happy about today..Some stories just need to be told. In the spirit of Aisha Chaudhry and her incredible parents Aditi and Niren we bring you our tentatively titled super special project The Sky is pink. Going on floors today. God Speed. 🙏🏽❤🎉

For the uninitiated, Sonali Bose’s film is based on the life of late Aisha Chaudhary, a girl who suffered from pulmonary fibrosis when she was 13 years old. Irrespective of her illness, she became a motivational speaker and author of a book titled ‘My Little Epiphanies’. However, she could not fight for long with her illness and passed away at the age of 19 on January 24, 2018.
The role of Aisha will be played by none other than ‘Dangal’ girl Zaira Wasim whereas Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar will be playing the role of her parents in the film.’The Sky Is Pink’ is produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur under his banner Roy Kapur Films.
