Actress Priyanka Chopra has been associated with UNICEF for many years now. The lady took up a noble cause of helping Syrian children who have been ravaged by war and have become refugees. So, after attending the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), the actress headed to Jordan and has been sharing updates on her social media page ever since. She first posted a picture where she was seen reading up the UNICEF book. She captioned it as, “Let’s take this trip together… let’s open our eyes and our hearts to the #ChildrenUprooted in the Syrian Refugee crisis. This will be our #MissionForChildren. Let’s show them that the world cares and help them find a way forward.. come along with me.. I’ll update as much as I can and in as much detail as I can… @Unicef #PCInJordan?? #syrianrefugees?? #ChildrenOfSyria”

Next, she shared a picture with a motivating caption, “With everything that’s happening in the world around us, it’s important to look forward with hope and love…. that’s what I’ve brought with me to #Jordan along with the resolve to help us understand these amazing survivors and how we can all do our part to help them. Keep u posted #MissionForChildren #ChildrenUprooted #PCInJordan #ChildrenOfSyria” (Also Read: Priyanka heads to Jordan, for UNICEF, to help Syrian Refugees. See Pics)

So, as she paid a visit to the children and spent time with them, she shared a very thoughtful message by writing, “I have never done this when I do field trips, but on this one I feel compelled to reflect on what I feel after every session because I felt a lot. The anger and agony I felt seeing these beautiful hopeful children ravaged by war was so raw. The world has seen the pain war has left in Syria but the resilience and joy and hope in spite of it is so inspiring to me. These kids are my inspiration. They should be yours too.

Soon after, a critic questioned her efforts and initiatives for UNICEF Jordan by tweeting, “I would request @priyankachopra that do visit rural areas of India where malnourished kids waiting for food. #MissionForChildren.” Priyanka shut him up with a reply that made her point loud and clear. She tweeted back, “Ive worked w/ @UNICEFIndia for 12 yrs&visited many such places. What have u done @RavindraGautam_ ?Y is 1 childs prob less imp than another?”

The actress feels strongly for the cause and the tweet by the critic disturbed her, hence she replied him and we believe what she said is true. It doesn’t matter which country the kids belong to, because a child is a child and no child’s problem is smaller than the other just because he or she is from another country.
