Film producer who stabbed actress Malvi Malhotra multiple times finally gets arrested

Actress Malvi Malhotra was recently stabbed by a film producer after she refused her marriage proposal. The ‘Hotel Milan’ actress was stabbed multiple times in her stomach by producer Yogesh Kumar Singh. Later Malvi revealed that the producer even used to stalk her.

According to a report in Times of India, the Versova police has finally arrested Yogesh and he has been sent to police custody till November 2. Read on to know the details.

Yogesh had met with an accident an hour after he attacked Malvi. As per a report in Times of India, Versova police took Yogesh into custody as soon as he was discharged from Vasai’s Platinum hospital.

Earlier talking about the incident, Malvi had told Navbharat Times, “I had a meeting with a DOP for her next project. After the meeting, I started walking towards my house and the young man took his car and followed me. Suddenly, he stopped his car and said, ‘please just sit in my car for 2 minutes, after that, I will never bother you. I continued my walk ignoring his words. I didn’t sit in his car nor was talking. I just told him ‘don’t chase me or else I will complain to the police. He then parked his car at a distance of 100 meters, came to me from behind and stabbed me with a knife on my stomach. While attacking, he said, ‘I will kill you and I will die myself too, will not let you live.’ Within 15 seconds, stabbed me multiple times and then ran away.”

Malvi underwent plastic surgery as her small finger got detached when she used her hand to protect herself while Yogesh attacked her.  Talking about her surgery, designer Karishma Trehan tweeted, “Malvi is out of danger her operation was successful but another big surgery is happening tomorrow she is using her earnings as her bill ran into over 6 lacs already it’s a plea that the operation fee waived off since it’s a criminal case.” She also tagged NCW chief Rekha Sharma in her tweet.

Malvi has even sought help from actress Kangana Ranaut. Meanwhile, the same report also stated that after the arrest, the producer has been changing his statements constantly.
