Qandeel Baloch’s brother reveals why he murdered her

Pakistani model Qandeel Baloch was recently shot dead by her brother who opined that Qandeel’s bold activities were ruining his family’s image. Mohammad Waseem, Qandeel’s brother, stated that the sole reason to kill her was to protect the family’s prestige.

Qandeel was becoming one of the most popular sensations on the internet. She grabbed many eyeballs when she promised to strip if Pakistan won a cricket match against India. Her love message for Virat Kohli went viral too. She was a sensuous and bold woman who wanted the society in Pakistan to evolve and change.

Waseem has revealed that he first gave her a pill and then strangled her to death; adding that for the Baloch family, respect was the foremost priority. Apparently, Qandeel’s modeling and showbiz career was affecting the ‘izzat’ of the family. Waseem also said that he was not at all guilty of murdering his sister.

The police have arrested him and investigations are on.
