Actress Rakul Preet Singh was recently seen amping up glam quotient at a fashion event. However, the real moment was at the red carpet when the actress dropped hint about her next project. As per reports, Rakul has been approached for Race 4. While details remian under wraps, she has reacted to the rumours in a smart way.

The actress was spotted coming off stage after her ramp walk where a paparazzo quizzed her about the rumours. While she chose to comment on it, she coyly smiled and walked away. This hint was enough to know that a big announcement may follow soon.

While it is confirmed that Race 4 in under making, a few days back, Ramesh Taurani urged media portals to stop casting speculations. In a statement issued by the production house, Tips stated, “We would like to clarify that we are currently in discussions only with Saif Ali Khan and Sidharth Malhotra for the next instalment of the Race franchise (Race 4), which is currently in its scripting phase. No other male or female actors have been approached at this stage. We sincerely request the media and social media pages to avoid engaging with false news and to wait for an official confirmation from our PR team.”

About Race Franchise

Released in 2008, the first film in the Race franchise starred Saif Ali Khan, Bipasha Basu, Akshaye Khanna, Katrina Kaif, Anil Kapoor and Ameesha Patel in pivotal roles. The film was a blockbuster success, leading to a direct sequel releasing in 2013. A continuation of the first film, Race 2 saw the addition of Deepika Padukone, John Abraham and Jacqueliene Fernandez to the cast alongside Khan, Kapoor and Patel. Race 3 released in 2018 and saw Salman Khan playing the lead. Holding no connection to the earlier films, this actioner starrer Bobby Deol, Saqib Saleem, Daisy Shah and Jacqueline Fernandez among others in pivotal roles.

On the work front for Rakul, this year she was seen in Mere Husband Ki Biwi alongside Bhumi Pednekar and Arjun Kapoor. Coming up, she has De De Pyaar De 2 lined up with Ajay Devgn.
