RGV-and-tiger-Shroff

Ram Gopal Varma is one of those stars who makes optimum use of social media. He speaks whatever he wants and hence creates controversies too. Twitter being a platform where anyone can have an opinion, RGV’s opinions always stood out in the lot, solely because he had drastic thoughts over a subject. Being said this, we remember how the filmmaker made fun of Jackie Shroff’s young lad Tiger Shroff and had called him a bikini babe. The controversy had been blown out of proportion and called a lot of criticism for RGV. Well, whatever said and done, today RGV regrets that incident. He is no more on Twitter, but still speaks about it.

In his latest interview, he was asked whether he regrets any controversial tweet he ever made, to which he said, “None at all, except when I picked Tiger Shroff for no reason. I regret that. But what’s done is done. I now look forward to making my web series ‘Guns & Thighs’. The digital world is a direct connection between filmmaker and viewers. Unlike a tweet which can be misconstrued or carelessly put, even a short film, due to an elaborate creative process involved will put it out more effectively than a hastily written tweet.”

He also shared some light on why he quit Twitter. RGV quipped, “Trollers and controversies never bothered me and they are not the reason why I decided to quit Twitter. I had better reasons to quit. For starters, I was living only in the twitter world.I just wanted to change my world and that can only happen if I completely isolate myself.”
