Ram Setu: Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha share glimpse from the first day shoot

Nushrratt Bharuccha and Jacqueline Fernandez- the leading ladies of Ram Setu shared a glimpse from the film’s sets which also features superstar Akshay Kumar. Both Jacqueline and Nushrratt took to their social media and posted a picture in which two of them are seen with Akshay. They all are seen quite engrossed reading the script for a scene.

In her post, Jacqueline mentioned, “Ram Setu filming begins today!! Keep us in your prayers ???? #ramsetu.” Whereas Nushrratt also shared the same pic and wrote, “Super duper excited to begin filming for #RamSetu with @akshaykumar sir and @jacqueline143 and the entire team. Need your best wishes ???.”

Earlier Akshay, who will be portraying the character of an archaeologist in the movie, had shared his first look along with kick-starting the film’s shoot.

Directed by Abhishek Sharma and produced by Aruna Bhatia and Vikram Malhotra, Ram Setu was announced on Diwali last year. It will be an action-adventure drama that will bring to light a story that is deeply rooted in Indian cultural and historical heritage. Following the film’s theatrical release, Ram Setu will soon be also available for Prime members in India, along with more than 240 countries and territories. Amazon Prime will also be the worldwide exclusive streaming partner for the film.

Earlier this month Akshay, along with Jacqueline and Nushrratt had visited Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, for the muhurat of the Abhishek Sharma directorial. The shooting of the film has started at Goregaon Film City in Mumbai. The Padman actor earlier defined the film as a “bridge between generations past, present and future.” Abhishek has previously helmed films like Tere Bin Lade, The Zoya Factor and the recent Manoj Bajpayee-Diljit Dosanjh starrer Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari.

Meanwhile, Akshay has wrapped up Bachchan Pandey and Atrangi Rey. Apart from Ram Setu, the National Award winning actor is awaiting the release of Rohit Shetty’s directorial cop thriller — Sooryavanshi, and spy thriller — Bell Bottom.
