Tips Music has issued an official statement in response to the ongoing legal dispute with Puja Entertainment, asserting its lawful ownership of the music rights involved and denying all allegations made against the company.

Following recent legal proceedings involving Puja Entertainment (India) Ltd. and a temporary status quo order issued by the Civil Judge (Senior Division) in Katihar, Tips Music Limited clarified its position. The company affirmed that it is the legitimate owner of the disputed music rights, backed by valid and binding agreements with the relevant parties. Tips also emphasised that it has been lawfully exploiting these rights for nearly thirty years, in full accordance with applicable laws.

TIPS Music Statement

The statement, “Tips Music Limited (“Tips”) has become aware of a suit filed by Puja Entertainment (India) Ltd. (“PEIL”) before the Civil Judge (Senior Division), Katihar, Bihar. While we await formal copies of the order, we clarify that we are the lawful owner of the music rights in question, supported by valid and binding agreements between the parties.Tips has openly and legitimately exploited these rights for nearly three decades, fully complying with all relevant laws. The claims made by PEIL are strongly disputed and appear to be malicious, misconceived, and aimed at tarnishing Tips’ reputation and goodwill. We remain fully confident in defending our rights before the appropriate courts and will take all necessary legal steps to protect our interests and ownership of the rights.”

In its statement, Tips Music expressed confidence in defending its rights before the courts. It also assured that they will take all necessary legal actions to safeguard their interests and ownership.
