Say What! Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt to get engaged today in Ranthambore?

Alia Bhatt with his beau Ranbir Kapoor and his family (Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Bharat Sahni and Samara) jetted off to Jaipur. All were spotted at the Kalina airport yesterday as they boarded a private jet. Later, Alia’s mom, Soni Razdan was also spotted at the airport as she headed to the same destination to accompany them.

Earlier yesterday, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone also left for Jaipur. Riddhima Kapoor Sahni shared a few Instagram stories where the family was enjoying a bonfire party. Neetu Kapoor took to her Instagram stories to share a selfie of her posing with Ranveer and Ranbir.

As per a report in Bollywood Hungama, Alia and Ranbir will have an engagement today. Quoting sources from the industry, the report read: “They are all staying together at Aman Hotel in Ranthambore. At first, we all thought it’s a vacation to bring in New Year, but with full attendance of RK and Alia’s close pals, we are forced to think if they are getting engaged today. We heard from someone that a closed engagement ceremony might take place in the hotel today.”

“Why else would family and friends fly together and stay at a single location? It’s obvious that some ritual is taking place behind the doors,” an industry person said.

Bollywood Hungama’s report also states that Mahesh Bhatt is also in Ranthambore and Karan Johar will also join soon.

Recently, in an interview with Rajeev Masand, Ranbir addressed Alia as his girlfriend and said that they were going to get married in 2020 itself, had there been no pandemic. “I think it would have already been sealed if the pandemic had not hit our lives. But I don’t want to jinx it by saying anything. I want to tick mark that goal very soon in my life,” he said.
