Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal Wrap Love And War Mumbai Shoot; Prep For Italy Phase Begins- Report 

Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal are set to come together for one of the most anticipated films of the coming years Love And War, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The filmmaker, known for his grand storytelling and stunning visuals, has been busy working on the movie in Mumbai. Now, reports suggest that Bhansali has finished the Mumbai schedule and is preparing to fly to Italy for the next phase of shooting.

Love And War Italy Schedule To Begin Soon

Bhansali recreated the look and feel of 1970s Italy on a set in Mumbai for the film. The team shot for nearly ten days before Diwali, completing major portions of the movie. The remaining shoot, including some important climax scenes, is expected to take place in Italy. The schedule is planned to last about 20 days and is likely to be filmed by December 2025, as per Filmfare reports. 

With  this movie, Bhansali is aiming for a grand cinematic experience, and the makers are reportedly targeting an Eid 2026 release, building even more excitement among fans.

Though the story of Love And War has been kept under wraps, the star-studded cast has already created a huge buzz. In an earlier interview with News18 Showsha, Alia Bhatt shared her excitement about working again with Ranbir Kapoor under Bhansali’s direction. She expressed curiosity about Ranbir and Bhansali’s collaboration after so many years. Alia also mentioned looking forward to teaming up with Vicky Kaushal once again, recalling how Vicky and Ranbir delivered a hit together in Sanju.

Love And War is scheduled to release on March 20, 2026. With a powerful cast, a visionary director, and an exciting storyline expected, the film has already become one of the most awaited projects in Bollywood.
