Rashmika Mandanna, Vijay Deverakonda Perform Gruhapravesam, Satyanarayana Vratam Puja As Newlyweds In Actor’s Hometown In Thummanpeta- Watch

Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda recently visited Vijay’s hometown, Thummanpet, in Telangana to perform a Satyanarayana Vratam puja and gruhapravesh at their newly built farmhouse. Videos shared on their fan pages show the couple arriving in Thummanpet, Mahbubnagar, where they received a warm welcome from the villagers.

Elders in the village performed traditional rituals before the couple proceeded to their farmhouse, which was beautifully decorated with flowers. Vijay was seen in a pastel green kurta, while Rashmika looked elegant in a dark blue silk saree.

Earlier, the couple had tied the knot in Udaipur on February 26. It was an intimate ceremony attended by close family and friends. After their wedding, they returned to Hyderabad and were later spotted seeking blessings at Tirupati Tirumala temple.

A traditional harati was performed as Rashmika and Vijay entered their new home. A woman performed dishti (nazar) to ward off any negative energies. Rashmika was seen smiling brightly and greeting everyone present with warmth and enthusiasm. Their residence in the Mahbubnagar district (now Nagarkurnool) was beautifully decorated and illuminated, with tents set up to host the guests.

A social media video captured the arrangements made for the couple’s arrival, showcasing the festive setup. Rashmika and Vijay also performed the Satyanarayana Vratam at their new house. It is a sacred puja customary for newlyweds to thank God for a successful wedding. They sought blessings for a prosperous new beginning.

Additionally, on March 1, Rashmika and Vijay were seen attending Allu Arjun’s brother Allu Sirish’s Pelli Koduku function. Photos of them posing with Allu Arjun went viral, delighting fans. The reunion was particularly special given that Rashmika and Allu Arjun previously shared screen space in Pushpa: The Rise and its upcoming sequel, Pushpa 2: The Rule.

It was embroidered with temple motifs inspired by Hyderabad’s historic architecture. Vijay’s wedding attire was equally meaningful. He wore an ivory dhoti paired with a vermillion angavastram, drawing inspiration from Hyderabad’s textile legacy and the strength of the Vanasingaram weave.
