Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor is known for his powerful performances and huge fan following in India. But even a superstar like him can turn into a fanboy when he meets his favourite Hollywood celebrities. Ranbir shared some funny and awkward moments he had while trying to get pictures with stars like Natalie Portman and Quentin Tarantino.
Ranbir Kapoor Chased Natalie Portman For A Selfie
Ranbir recalled a moment in New York when he saw actress Natalie Portman in an old episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, he said, “I was running on the street and needed to use the washroom. Suddenly, I saw Natalie Portman walking by while talking on the phone. I got excited and ran after her, shouting, ‘One photo, one photo,’ But I didn’t notice she was crying,” he said. Natalie turned around and told him to “Get lost!” and walked away. Ranbir said his heart was broken, but he’s still a huge fan of hers.
He also shared another incident with the famous director Quentin Tarantino. While shooting nearby, Ranbir found out that Tarantino was close by for a film promotion. “I was shouting ‘Tarantino! Tarantino!’ He looked at me and said ‘Yeah, yeah’ before getting into his car,” Ranbir said. He added that he went closer to the car and kept asking for a photo, but the director ignored him. Ranbir admitted these things happen to him more often than people think, especially when he’s outside India.
On the work front, Ranbir is currently filming Ramayana, one of his most-awaited projects. He will play Lord Ram, while Sai Pallavi plays Sita, and Yash takes on the role of Ravana. The film also features Sunny Deol, Ravie Dubey, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, and others in key roles.
