Rangoli Chandel shares her horrifying acid attack story, says Kangana was ‘almost beaten to death’

The Ranaut sisters have never shied away from speaking their mind be it about anything or everything under the sun. Kangana Ranaut‘s sister and manager, Rangoli Chandel is an acid attack survivor. She recently opened up about her gruesome acid attack story and how her life changed after that. She also revealed how back then Kangana was ‘almost beaten to death’.

Revealing the details of her terrifying acid attack, Rangoli shared pictures of the scars that she still has despite undergoing 54 surgeries in the span of 5 years. Rangoli also mentioned that a lot of people might feel sorry that she lost her beauty, but that’s not what she thinks about.

Alongside her picture, Rangoli wrote, “Lot of people feeling sorry about the fact that I lost my beauty, honestly when your organs melt before your eyes beauty is the last thing you care about, even after 54 surgeries over a span of 5 years doctors couldn’t reconstruct my ear.”

She went on to add that even now she can’t stretch her neck sometimes as the grafted skin causes her pain so bad that she wished she was dead. “Shockingly acid victims numbers are very high in India, the culprit was out on bail within a few weeks, it was too painful to see him roam around freely. I stopped following the case, why not a death sentence for these people? Beauty was the last thing I cared about I was university topper but best years of my youth went in operation theatres, even though I had 90 per cent burn still no reservation for acid survivors. These are some of the questions we need to ask ourselves and our system(sic),” she wrote in one of her tweets.

Rangoli credits her family and her husband for breathing life into her again. And she has stopped keeping a track on the culprit and the case as it was harming her recovery process. Her family is her priority now.

After sharing the above image Rangoli shared the following tweet wherein she revealed how at the time of the acid attack strangely Kangana was almost beaten to death.

She further revealed, “Cause our parents gave birth to beautiful, intelligent and confident daughters, the world is not kind to the girl child, time to fight all kind of social evil … so it’s safer for our children.”

She also highlighted that more than fighting individuals there is a need to fight the mindset.
