According to Variety India, Ranveer will continue filming Pralay until Diwali before taking a paternity break, during which production is expected to be temporarily paused. Recently, Ranveer was spotted at filmmaker Hansal Mehta’s office—who is also Jai Mehta’s father—but he ensured his face was concealed with a full-face mask and a cap, possibly to keep his new look for Pralay under wraps from the media.

About Pralay

The film Pralay is reportedly set to shoot in Australia starting in September. The lead actress will be Kalyani Priyadarshan, who makes her Hindi film debut with this project. The film is a post-apocalyptic thriller set in a dystopian Mumbai ravaged by a zombie outbreak. It focuses on a married couple fighting to survive amid chaos. With an estimated budget of Rs 300 crore, Pralay is expected to be the costliest standalone project in Ranveer’s career. He is co-producing the film under his banner, Ma Kasam Films.

Details about the cast and storyline remain under wraps. However, a source told Pinkvilla that a significant portion of the shoot will take place in Australia. Ranveer has already begun preparations. The film demands intense physical and emotional readiness due to its scale and genre. This indicates a challenging and ambitious project for the actor.
