The report suggests that the extended cut may include additional scenes or content that were not part of the theatrical release. However, the makers have not yet officially confirmed the changes in the OTT version.
Meanwhile, reports claim that the film is expected to stream in India on JioHotstar. However, it remains unclear whether Indian audiences will also receive the extended ‘Raw and Undekha’ version available internationally.
Dhurandhar 3 On The Cards?
The development comes amid growing buzz around the future of the Dhurandhar franchise. Following the success of both Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar The Revenge, speculation around a possible third instalment has intensified online.
Recently, Jio Studios co-producer Jyoti Deshpande hinted that the makers may already be planning something bigger for the franchise. “We’re not done with Dhurandhar yet. We’ll hopefully have a surprise for the audience later this year. There’s something up our sleeves,” she told Bollywood Hungama. Her statement quickly fuelled discussions around a potential Dhurandhar 3. However, the makers have not officially announced another instalment yet.
With an extended OTT version reportedly on the way and fresh franchise speculation building up, Dhurandhar continues to remain one of the most talked-about action properties among audiences this year.
