Ranveer Singh Will NOT Give Any Interviews For Next 18 Months

Ranveer Singh has reportedly decided not to speak on the Don 3 controversy or give interviews for the next 18 months. This silence comes amid an escalating fallout with Farhan Akhtar that has now turned into a legal dispute ahead of Pralay. With the controversy over Ranveer Singh’s exit from Don 3, reports suggest the actor has chosen to stay silent until his upcoming film, Jai Mehta’s Pralay, is released.

Ranveer Singh Will NOT Give Any Interviews For Next 18 Months

A trade journalist, quoted by the Free Press Journal, said, “I met him personally,” and added, “And he told me he will not speak on the Don 3 controversy, nor will he give any interviews for at least 18 months.”

The dispute between Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar over Don 3 has become one of Bollywood’s most talked-about controversies. Multiple reports indicate Singh exited the project due to creative differences with the makers. It has also been reported that he was unhappy with the repeated delays in production and the absence of a finalised script.

What initially seemed like a routine casting change has now escalated into a legal issue. Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment has demanded Rs 45 crore in compensation. The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) had issued a non-cooperation directive against Singh. However, the directive has since been revoked.

About Ranveer’s Pralay

Pralay is a post-apocalyptic zombie thriller set in a decayed Mumbai. The film will reportedly feature AI-driven visuals to depict a crumbling city. Directed by Jai Mehta, who is the son of filmmaker Hansal Mehta and is making his theatrical debut. The project is expected to begin shooting soon. Jai Mehta, known for co-directing Scam 1992 and Lootere, is praised for his realistic storytelling style.

The film is being co-produced by Hansal Mehta and Sameer Nair’s Applause Entertainment. The script has reportedly been finalised, and shooting is likely to start soon. For now, Singh is maintaining silence on the Don 3 controversy until his next film releases.
