Ranveer Singh To Shoot Zombie Thriller Pralay After Wrapping Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3 In 2026- Report

Ranveer Singh is poised to begin work on the film Pralay after completing Don 3. Currently, he is enjoying the success of his recent hit, Dhurandhar. The Bollywood star, who played the lead role in Aditya Dhar’s spy thriller, is now looking ahead to his upcoming projects. He has two films scheduled — one being Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3, and the other, reportedly titled Pralay. According to recent media reports, Ranveer’s zombie thriller, tentatively named Pralay, is expected to commence filming in 2026.

Ranveer Singh To Begin Shooting For Pralay Post Don 3 Schedule

As reported by Mid-Day, Pralay is likely to go on floors between July and August of next year. A source close to the project revealed, “Don 3, directed by Farhan Akhtar, will begin filming first in 2026. After that, Ranveer will shift focus to Pralay. The exact schedule will be finalised in January, after confirming Ranveer’s commitments for Don 3.”

The film is said to be directed by Jai Mehta and reportedly revolves around a protagonist fighting for survival. Jai is expected to utilise a zombie framework to explore themes of social, emotional, and moral collapse. The film might reimagine Mumbai in a style reminiscent of The Hunger Games, with large sections of the city digitally aged to create an abandoned, dystopian look. “Large sections of the city will be digitally aged, to give it an abandoned look. Parts of the film will be shot in Mumbai, before moving to other locations,” the source added.

Ranveer’s Upcoming Projects

Regarding his recent work, Ranveer was last seen in Dhurandhar, produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios. The film has performed remarkably well at the box office, grossing Rs 364.25 crore in just ten days of release, surpassing the lifetime collections of films like Gully Boy and several others.
