Ranveer Singh on wife Deepika Padukone unveiling FIFA World Cup trophy: Proud of her as a husband and Indian

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are one of the most loved couples of Bollywood. Be it showering love on each other publicly to being supportive, Deepika and Ranveer are couple goals. Speaking of that, last week, Deepika unveiled the FIFA World Cup trophy at the Lusail Iconic Stadium in Qatar. Ranveer Singh was present during the finals and he was beyond proud of wife Deepika Padukone. Now, in recent interview, Ranveer shared that he was ‘proud as a husband and Indian’.

Speaking with NDTV, Ranveer said, “I mean it’s a massive deal. I was so proud of her as a husband and as an Indian. You know, to unveil the most coveted trophy of all. Very proud, very proud moment.”

Earlier, several pictures of Ranveer and Deepika enjoying the FIFA World Cup finals between Argentina and France went viral on social media. Post Argentina’s win, Deepika had shared a video on Instagram in which she can be seen signing the football and book. Fans were as proud as Ranveer Singh. A fan commented on Deepika’s post saying, “A woman with beautiful vibes.” Another one commented, “This is so good.”

On the work front, Ranveer and Deepika have interesting projects in the pipeline. Ranveer starrer Cirkus released today. The actor will be next seen in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi.

Talking about Deepika, she will be seen in Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan. The actress also has The Intern remake with Amitabh Bachchan, Project K with Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Disha Patani. Apart from that, Deepika also has Fighter with Hrithik Roshan.
