The incident happened on Sunday evening, August 17. According to reports, several crew members suddenly complained of severe stomach pain, vomiting, and headaches. They were immediately taken to S.N.M. Hospital in Leh. Doctors confirmed it was a case of mass food poisoning.
Officials said that around 600 people from the crew had eaten the same food. Food samples have been collected and are being tested to find out the exact cause of the illness.
A senior doctor at the hospital said, “We handled the sudden rush of patients well. The police also helped manage the crowd and prevent panic in the emergency ward.”
While initial reports mentioned a “Bollywood film crew,” sources later confirmed that the incident happened on the sets of Dhurandhar.
Dhurandhar is set to release on December 5, 2025. On Ranveer Singh’s birthday last month, the teaser of the film was released and received a positive response from fans.
Presented by Jio Studios, a B62 Studios production, Dhurandhar, written, directed, and produced by Aditya Dhar, produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar, uncovers the untold saga of the origins of the unknown men.
