When asked if she would confirm or deny the wedding rumours, she responded, “I wouldn’t like to confirm or deny the marriage. I will just say when it’s to be spoken about, we shall.”

This statement comes amid increasing buzz about her wedding plans. Reports last month indicated that Rashmika has already begun preparations. It includes a trip to Udaipur for a venue recce, hinting at a grand celebration in the offing.

About Rashmika and Vijay

The couple reportedly got engaged in a private ceremony in Hyderabad in October. Though they haven’t officially announced the engagement or shared photos, Vijay’s team confirmed the news to HT. The team revealed that they are indeed engaged and planning to marry in February 2026.

Rashmika and Vijay’s relationship has been the subject of speculation since their collaboration in Geetha Govindam (2018) and Dear Comrade (2019). The two have often been seen together, sparking further rumours. In August, they jointly led the 43rd India Day Parade in New York and attended an event called Bharat Beyond Borders. Fans have also noticed them sharing vacation photos from similar locations, although both have chosen to keep details private.

In 2024, Rashmika and Vijay confirmed they were not single. But they have yet to publicly reveal the identities of their partners.
