Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Raj Nidimoru have tied the knot today morning. The couple just shared the wedding glimpses from Sadguru’s Isha Foundation in Coimbatore, which was only attended by close family and friends. Their growing closeness had been gaining momentum since early 2024. Over the past year, Samantha had openly shared pictures with Raj on her social media accounts, signalling their relationship. And it’s OFFICIAL!

Samantha Ruth Prabhu chose to drape a red silk saree with intricate zari work and opted for gold meenakari jewellery. To complete her look, the actress styled her hair bun accompanied by a gajra; the look was rather simple yet beautiful. Sam’s mehendi designs were kept minimal, but what steals the show are the traditional values of the temple wedding. Raj, on the other hand, wore a white kurta set with a half beige coloured Nehru jacket. The caption of the official post read, “01.12.2025”.

The pictures shared were when the couple exchanged rings, followed by the havan kund. In the third picture, the actress holds the filmmaker’s left arm, and the minute detail here to notice is Sam’s mangalsutra. Next, we see the couple standing in front of the Holy fire for aashirwaad after the garlands were exchanged. The last candid shot is Sam and Raj stepping out of the temple, beaming with happiness as they begin their new journey today.

Samantha-Raj’s Upcoming Projects

On the work front, Samantha recently began shooting for her upcoming Telugu film Maa Inti Bangaram, alongside Gulshan Devaiah. The film, produced by Raj Nidimoru, Samantha, and Himank Duvvuru, marks her reunion with director Nandini Reddy after their blockbuster Oh! Baby (2019). Separately, Samantha and Raj are also collaborating on a web series titled Rakt Brahmand. It will feature Aditya Roy Kapur, Ali Fazal, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Jaideep Ahlawat.

This wedding is the second marriage for both Samantha and Raj. Samantha was previously married to actor Naga Chaitanya; after their widely publicised wedding in 2017, the couple separated in 2021. Naga Chaitanya went on to marry actress Sobhita Dhulipala in 2024. Meanwhile, Raj was earlier married to Sshyamali De, with reports indicating that the couple parted ways in 2022.
