Mutha Ashok Jain, Deputy DG, South-Western Region, NCB told ANI, “Rhea was sent for a routine medical check-up. She tested negative for COVID-19. Whatever she told was sufficient for the arrest. We have arrested her, it means we had enough.”

Riya will be brought to the NCB office shortly after which she will be heard in front of the magistrate at 7:30 pm via video conferencing. Sameer Wankhede NCB officer was leading the whole case and he exposed Riya’s lies with his questions.

In her interviews, Rhea had earlier denied using drugs. As per reports, during NCB’s interrogation, she admitted to organising drugs for the late actor and also using them sometimes.

The Narcotics Control Bureau started investigating the drug angle case based on WhatsApp chats of Rhea with her friends and associates regarding drugs.
