Rhea Chakraborty was arrested by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection with the drug conspiracy that emerged in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. Apart from Rhea, the NCB had also arrested her brother Showik, Sushant’s house manager Samuel Miranda and house help Dipesh Sawant among several others.

The actress’ earlier bail application was rejected and she was sent to 14 days judicial custody until September 22 ie. today. The latest reports state that Rhea’s judicial custody has been extended till October 6. Following which the actress and her brother Showik have now approached Bombay High Court for their bail.

According to ANI, the judicial custody of Rhea has been extended till 6th October by Special NDPS court. Following which the actor’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde told the news agency, “Rhea Chakraborty & Showik Chakraborty have filed bail applications in the NDPS case before the Bombay High Court. It will come up for hearing on 23rd September. Details of the applications will be shared after the hearing”

Now, Rhea will be in the judicial custody until October 6 and it has to be seen if the Bombay High Court grants her bail tomorrow. Until then, you guys stay tuned to this space for more updates on this case.
