She described the moment as deeply unsettling, especially because it happened so close to touchdown.

In her Instagram stories, Riddhima explained that the plane had just touched down on the runway when it suddenly ascended once more—a maneuver known as a “go-around,” used by pilots to reattempt landing for safety reasons. Although routine in aviation, such sudden movements can be startling for passengers, particularly when they happen at the last second.

She recounted the experience as nerve-wracking: “Today, my daughter and I experienced a moment I’ll never forget. Our plane touched down and then suddenly lifted back into the sky. For those few seconds, both of our hearts stopped.” Riddhima also shared how Samara looked at her with fear, and how she held her daughter’s hand tightly, trying to remain calm and strong for her.

Despite the trauma of the moment, Riddhima expressed gratitude that they were safe.
