An outspoken admirer of Shivaji, Riteish took this opportunity to encourage the youth to draw inspiration from the Maratha ruler’s life to lead a dignified and courageous life.

Celebrating Chhatrapati Shivaji Jayanti, Riteish Deshmukh visited Shivneri Fort amidst a festive crowd, accompanied by security personnel. Dressed in white, he sought the blessings of the legendary Maratha king, who is renowned for his valour, revolutionary spirit, and efforts to transform Maharashtra’s history. During his visit, Riteish posed for photos, interacted with locals and police officers, and shared warm moments with women and children dressed as Jijabai and Shivaji, who clicked pictures with him.

Riteish Deshmukh’s Message To The Youth

In an official statement to ANI, Riteish expressed his wishes to all Shivaji devotees. He said, “I extend my best wishes to all the devotees of Lord Shiva on Shiv Jayanti. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj continues to inspire us and energise our spirits. The youth should learn about the sacrifices he made for the nation. We should all strive to be good human beings.” When asked about his upcoming film, Riteish chose not to comment, stating it wasn’t the right time to discuss movies.
