About Riteish-Genelia’s Love Story

The couple’s love story began during the filming of Tujhe Meri Kasam in 2003, and they officially tied the knot in February 2012. Following Marathi traditions, they had a Christian wedding in a church the next day. Their first son, Riaan, was born in November 2014, followed by their second son, Rahyl, in June 2016.

About Genelia’s Upcoming Projects

Last month, Genelia announced her upcoming project, Gunmaaster G9, starring alongside Emraan Hashmi, and called it a “new beginning.” On January 22, she shared a subtle side profile of herself on Instagram Stories, adding a New Beginning” sticker and the caption #GunmaasterG9. Directed by Aditya Datt, Gunmaaster G9 is an action film inspired by the 1979 Indian spy classic Surakksha, featuring the original Gunmaster G9 played by Mithun Chakraborty. The film’s music is composed by Himesh Reshammiya, and Aparshakti Khurana also stars in it.

Looking ahead, Genelia will soon appear in Ram Gopal Varma’s horror-comedy Police Station Mein Bhoot, co-starring Manoj Bajpayee — their first on-screen collaboration. She made a successful comeback with the Marathi film Ved in 2022 and was seen in Sitaare Zameen Par.

After her marriage to Riteish Deshmukh and the birth of their two sons, she took a significant break from acting.
