As actors are public figures, they are always on the radar of people. More often they are targeted by trolls and some even comment with nastiest trolls getting into their personal lives. While some comment from their real handles, most of the users comment using fake accounts. Trolls might affect some people or actors mentally while some just choose to not get hampered or affected by trolls.

Rohit Roy has a great piece of advice for all the trolls out there who target celebs on their personal lives. He said, “Whenever you comment, on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter, or on a picture of somebody, always remember that somebody is someone’s daughter, wife and mother and he/she also has a heart. Think that if somebody else had said the same thing to you, would you like it? Will your parents like it? I don’t think so. I strongly believe that people are hiding behind these various handles and they are cowards.”

He added, “My suggestion is that ‘criticise us as we actors are in the public domain. Actors are meant to be criticised if you don’t like our work but do not sling mud on private and personal lives because you don’t know what they are going through. There are so many actors who are going through a very bad patch and one bad thing said by you might tilt the scale. Today you are mourning for Sushant, tomorrow you don’t want to be mourning for an actor you have pushed to take that drastic step. Remember these things before you troll next time.”
