Filmmaker Rohit Shetty who is best known for his brand of cinema which boasts of the ‘Golmaal’ franchise and the ‘Singham’ franchise is currently seen hosting the stunt-based reality TV series ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’. The filmmaker reveals that he is keen to explore the fiction genre on the small screen. However, the script should be interesting enough to lure him. When IANS asked him over the phone if he would ever direct a fiction show on the small screen, he replied, “It should be something interesting, and it should interest me… Then I will do it definitely. But at the moment, I don’t see that happening.”

Shetty has hosted the fifth and sixth season of the reality TV series ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’. The seventh season was hosted by actor Arjun Kapoor and Rohit is back as the host for the eighth season which is currently on air on Colors channel. Speaking about his journey on the show, he said, “I have been a fan of ‘Fear Factor’ before I started hosting it…I enjoy shooting for it and planning it. On the movie front, he is currently busy with the action-comedy ‘Golmaal Again’ which is the fourth instalment from the popular ‘Golmaal’ franchise. The movie features Tabu, Ajay Devgn, Parineeti Chopra, Shreyas Talpade and Neil Nitin Mukesh. The movie is all set to release on Diwali this year.
