Meanwhile, Hrithik is busy with the upcoming project Krrish 4. The film has been in development for years, and this time, Hrithik is stepping into the director’s chair. The movie is being produced in collaboration with Yash Raj Films, though its previous major YRF project, War 2, did not perform as expected at the box office.

The Krrish franchise began with Koi Mil Gaya, where Hrithik’s character acquires extraordinary powers from an alien named Jadoo, which he later passes to his son Krishna Mehra in Krrish. Over time, the series has become a cornerstone of Bollywood’s superhero genre.

Besides Krrish 4, Hrithik has teamed up with Hombale Films—known for Kantara—for a new venture described as “a tale of grit, grandeur, and glory… where intensity meets imagination, and the Big Bang begins.”
