Now, the VFX team of  ‘Amavas movie’ has raised the issue of being unpaid by Sachiin Joshi. The team of 27 people were appointed to work for Sachiin Joshi’s ‘Amavas’ movie.

Talking about this, Swapnil Andraskar from VFX team said, “We had spent day and night to complete ‘Amavas’ VFX and we haven’t been paid. They shared salary slip and mentioned tax deductions as well but the amount has not been credited in my account. Also, they have asked us to put down our papers.”

Another employee, Dushyant Singh said, “I worked for the VFX ‘Amavas’ team and never got my salary on time from the very first month I have been facing issues of the salary, and suddenly after completion of work we have been asked to put down our papers. I am still waiting for my pending my dues.”

Former ex- marketing manager Krishna said, “Firstly, he is just saying everything without any facts. If he was having something against us then why did he never mention it to us when we were working with the company? We all got the relieving letters without an issue and we were never informed by the HR that we are being investigated. Only after our continuous failed attempts to get our dues from the company, having no option left but to approach the media, he has now come up with this new story. Secondly, if he is so financially capable then why was giving salary always an issue in Viiking Ventures? The company had always emailed us that there were fund issues due to which we are not getting the payment. If he thinks he had funds for us why did he send an email requesting all of us to give him time during our tenure in Viiking? We are common people belonging to a middle-class family, we do not crave for fame. We work hard, earn money and feed our family. We are suffering because our hard-earned money is being sabotaged. We are equally hit by the pandemic as any other person, yet we are being harassed like this.”

Earlier, Sachiin Joshi was slammed by his former employees when he pledged to donate Rs 3 crore for Covid-19 relief.
