Post the success of ‘Tanhaji-The Unsung Warrior’, Saif Ali Khan’s next film is ‘Jawaani Jaaneman’. The film takes him back to his quirky space but this is purely a family drama.

At an event of ‘Jawaani Jaaneman’, Saif says, “I am very lucky to get varied roles. I wanted to do age-appropriate roles, I felt father role was interesting, this part (of father) was cool and different kind. Our director Nitin has directed on another level. It became commercial and entertaining. It was a pleasure working with him.”

The actor who is in awe of the newcomer Alaya F gave out a flattering statement as he compared her to Shah Rukh Khan. He says, “The most special experience was with this girl. It was brilliant working with her, the new generation is so prepared as compared to what we were. I have worked with Shah Rukh Khan and it was amazing, it was the same energy. We did a six-minute scene and it went so well in one go.”

The actor who has embraced his age like no other superstar reveals he isn’t scared of ageing. He says, “I don’t have these issues. I have never thought about it. You have to be young at heart, you have to be good. I don’t want to be very young, I don’t want to be old either. But I am happy. People say wear these clothes or have this hair cut, you will look young, but I have never had the pressure of being young. Till the time, I am getting work I am ok. When I retire, I will retire, will chill. You should know how to live. There is time for making money, a time when you relax, there is a time for everything in life. And when that comes I will find other things to do. I will be very happy. I had no issues getting older.”
