As per a Free Press Journal report, Salim Khan was discharged from Lilavati Hospital on Tuesday, March 17, at around 10:30 am. According to a source, Salman Khan visited the hospital around 6 am this morning to complete the discharge formalities and was officially discharged at exactly 10:24 am. While Salman did the paper work, at the time of discharge, other family members were also present.
As reported by Hindustan Times, Khan was under the care of senior consultant Dr Jaleel Parkar and underwent a procedure called Digital Subtraction Angiography (DSA) following his admission last month. For the unversed, this diagnostic procedure is used to detect conditions related to blood vessels in the brain, including aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations and blockages.
Doctors had earlier stated that Salim Khan had suffered a minor haemorrhage. Dr Parkar was quoted saying, “There was minimal brain haemorrhage. A small procedure was done this morning, and it was accomplished. He is fine and stable, but is still on a ventilator. By tomorrow, hopefully, we will take him off the ventilator. All in all, he’s doing quite well. Keeping his age in mind, the recovery time is longer.”
Just last week, Salim Khan’s second-born son – Arbaaz Khan interacted with the media post an Iftar party. While exiting the event, the actor shared an update about his father stating that he would be discharged soon.
