Public prosecutor Pradeep Gharat said, “I am 100 percent confident that I have done my job and duty to the best of my ability. We can only hope but cannot predict a conviction.”

Salman Khan in his statement to the court had pleaded not guilty. He said that he was not drunk nor driving the car. In fact it was his driver who was responsible. Salman Khan’s driver took the stand and said he crashed after the front left tyre burst, making steering and braking difficult.

Film critic B.B. Nagpal said, “If Salman Khan lands behind bars for a brief term, given his fan following it will be easy for him to rebound. But certainly 10 years will put a full stop on his career.”

So what fate awaits Salman Khan tomorrow, will he go in for a brief sentence or for ten years rigorous imprisonment?
