Actor Mukesh Rishi – who is know for films such as Sarfarosh, Sooryavansham, Bandhan, Indian Police Force and more, recently for candid about working some of Bollywood’s biggest names, such as Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar and more. During the interaction, Mukesh was also asked about his bond with his Judwaa co-star and whether Bhaijaan is indeed moody on sets. Mukesh Rishi: I Never Saw The Moody Side Of Salman Khan
While interacting with Siddharth Kannan, Mukesh Rishi addressed the longstanding rumour of Salman Khan being moody and unpredictable on film sets. Setting the record straight, Rishi said, “I never experienced any mood swings from him. We never had a moment that felt off. Over time, of course, life changes, and distance grows as people stop meeting, stop attending parties, and stop working together. But I never saw that side of him. In fact, people often misunderstand.”
Aside from dismissing the common misconceptions about the superstar’s personality, Rishi also got candid about the bond he shares with Khan. He said, “Salman was someone I did two or three films with. He’s incredibly friendly and always took the initiative to create a fun atmosphere in the evenings.” Recalling the time they shot Bandhan in Bangalore, Rishi revealed, “After pack-up, plans would be made to go out, maybe to a restaurant or a pub. That’s the kind of bond we shared. Sometimes we’d even exercise together. There was a real sense of camaraderie.”
During the same chat, when asked whether he ever partied with Salman, the actor chuckled and admitted, “Yes, we did drink together.”
Rishi On Working With Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Aamir Khan
During the same chat, the actor also got candid about working with other Bollywood stars, including Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar and Aamir Khan. Recalling his time working with Sr Bachchan, Rishi said, “I’ve done three to four films with Amit ji. There was always a respectful working relationship. He wasn’t the kind to engage in lengthy conversations, but the rapport was always there. Love and respect can’t be forced, they come from the heart.”
Mukesh Rishi defined his relationship with Akshay Kumar as more formal and work-focused, saying, “The conversations were limited to what happened on set.” Talking about Aamir Khan’s sociable nature, he joked, “Wherever four people are sitting, his chair will find its way there.”
