Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was all set to perform in the UK in the first week of May with his much-awaited event, The Bollywood Big One. However, following the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, Salman has decided to postpone the shows out of respect for the tragic situation.

Salman Khan Postpone UK Tour

On April 28, Salman took to Instagram to inform his fans about the change in plans. He shared a poster of the event and expressed his deep sadness over the recent events. In his post, he wrote, “In light of the recent tragic events in Kashmir, and with profound sadness, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone The Bollywood Big One shows, originally scheduled for May 4th and 5th in Manchester and London.

While we understand how much our fans were looking forward to these performances, we feel it is only right to pause during this time of grief.

We sincerely apologise for any disappointment or inconvenience this may cause and deeply appreciate your understanding and support. New dates for the shows will be announced shortly.”

The tour was to feature several top Bollywood stars including Madhuri Dixit, Tiger Shroff, Kriti Sanon, Varun Dhawan, Disha Patani, and Sara Ali Khan.

Salman Khan Work Front

On the work front, Salman was recently seen in Sikandar, an action-thriller directed by AR Murugadoss. The film, which released on March 30, also starred Rashmika Mandanna and Sathyaraj, but unfortunately didn’t perform well at the box office.

Looking ahead, Salman Khan is rumored to be working on a new project titled Gangaram, where he will share the screen with actor Sanjay Dutt. Fans are eagerly waiting for more updates on both his film and tour plans.
