Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has been busy shooting for his much-awaited film Battle of Galwan since September 2025. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film began its shoot in the breathtaking landscapes of Ladakh. After completing that schedule, the team has now moved to Mumbai for the next phase of filming, which reportedly began on October 10. The current schedule is said to include one of the most crucial and emotionally powerful sequences of the movie — a patriotic song featuring Salman himself.

Salman Khan’s Patriotic Track In Battle Of Galwan

According to a report in Mid-Day, this song is being described as a “rousing military anthem with a deep emotional core.” Unlike a typical celebratory number, this track aims to capture the pride, pain, and sacrifice of the soldiers who serve the nation.

A production insider revealed that both Salman and director Apoorva Lakhia wanted the song to feel completely natural to the storyline, reflecting the film’s emotional intensity rather than just being a musical interlude.

The sequence reportedly features more than 60 background artists, creating a grand visual experience. However, the focus will be less on dance and more on the emotional depth of Salman’s character as the story unfolds. Filming for this powerful song is expected to continue throughout the week.

About Battle Of Galwan

Battle of Galwan is based on the real-life 2020 military clash between India and China in the Galwan Valley and also stars Chitrangda Singh in a significant role.

Talking about his preparation for the film, Salman earlier told India Today, “It’s slow, I’m not feeling it yet. But I will — especially when I feel the cold water in Ladakh. I’m definitely feeling it while shooting there.” His words reflect both the challenges and dedication behind bringing this patriotic story to life.

Salman Khan’s Work Front

On the work front, the superstar has a packed schedule ahead. He recently announced Da-Bangg The Tour Reloaded in Doha, slated for November 14, 2025, where he will perform alongside Sonakshi Sinha, Tamannaah Bhatia, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Prabhu Deva. He recently returned to the runway as a showstopper for designer and long-time friend Vikram Phadnis, to celebrate his 35 successful years in the fashion industry.

Salman is also busy shooting for his much-awaited action film Battle of Galwan, directed by Apoorva Lakhia, and continues to host Bigg Boss Season 19.
