In Bollywood, stars and their PR teams come up with creative ideas to promote their films. With every film, the marketing teams are asked to think out of the box and come up with innovative and catchy promotional strategies.

However beating all these strategies, Bhaijaan Salman Khan has come up with the most forward-thinking strategy to promote his upcoming action-thriller ‘Race 3’. Well, according to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Salman has decided to cut down the marketing budget of ‘Race 3’ by 40 percent!

Salman Khan suggested that instead of wasting money on unnecessary promotions the makers of the film should use that money to start a movement. The actor told the tabloid, “We waste so much money on promoting films, so I suggested that we reduce it and start a movement instead. Our girls — Jackie and Daisy — are visiting NGOs of their choice to make a difference.”

However, Remo D’Souza the director of ‘Race 3’ was apprehensive about Salman’s idea, as he felt that people might think of their move as a gimmick but Salman reasoned out, “If that’s what people think, so be it. In fact, I dare others to do the same during their film’s release.”

Salman’s thought is really praiseworthy and we are so glad that finally, an actor is using the marketing budget of his film for some good use.
