Salman Khan’s says No to Item Numbers

Salman Khans films are synonymous with item numbers be it ‘Wanted’, ‘Main Aur Mrs Khanna’, ‘Ready’ and even ‘Bodyguard’ — there are item numbers in all of them.But as Salmans next ‘Mental’ is an intelligent and a serious film with Sohail Khan making his directorial comeback after a hiatus, there wont be any item numbers in it.

According to sources, many film makers feel that an item number in a serious film can make it popular with the masses, others feel big stars making cameos in dance tracks can guarantee more eyeballs, so item songs have become a necessary evil ,while Sohail khan remained unavailable for comments ,a friend speaking about this Telugu film remake informed that it is true there are no item numbers in the movie.

Item number or not, doesn’t matter to Sallu’s fans as they just go to see their Dabangg Khan.
