Mahesh Manjrekar, Sanjay Dutt May Reunite For A Film

Director Mahesh Manjrekar and actor Sanjay Dutt may team up again after 20 years for a new project. According to reports, Manjrekar is planning a Hindi remake of his 2024 Marathi film Juna Furniture, which was praised for its message and performances.

Mahesh Manjrekar, who also played the lead role in the original, believes the film’s story could connect with Hindi-speaking audiences. He has started working on the script for the Hindi version and has reportedly approached Sanjay Dutt for the lead role.

A source shared that Mahesh feels Sanjay is perfect for the part and is eager to work with him again. However, Sanjay Dutt has not yet confirmed his participation.

Meanwhile, Sanjay is busy with Dhurandar, an upcoming action film directed by Aditya Dhar. He is also part of The Raja Saab, starring Prabhas. Dhurandar is expected to release in theatres on December 5.
