All the fans and followers of Sanjay Dutt, as well as Ranbir Kapoor, were eagerly looking forward to the launch of the trailer of ‘Sanju’. Now, that the trailer is finally out it has become very difficult to patiently wait for the film’s release.

As expected the trailer has not only left us speechless but in fact, has surpassed our expectations. The trailer launch event was without a doubt a fun-filled event because when Ranbir Kapoor, Rajkumar Hirani, and Vidhu Vinod Chopra come under one roof it’s a complete laugh riot.

At the trailer launch of the film, the makers and the star cast revealed quite a few interesting things about each other as well as the film. Have a look:

Rajkumar Hirani: Ranbir Kapoor used to come at 3 am in the night for the 7 am shift

Manisha Koirala: When Raju sir offered me this role, I was really thrilled, it’s an honor for me to play this character. When ‘Bombay’ had released, Dutt Saab had sent me a letter saying that I reminded him of Nargis Dutt.

Ranbir Kapoor: Sonam is the same, she hasn’t changed a bit since we assisted on ‘Black’. Her personality is the same. She looks the same, no she has lost a lot of weight after Black. So she looks the same like she had in ‘Saawariya’. The only thing that has changed in her is that she has become an even better actress. So when I worked with her, the kind of confidence that she came in with, the kind of experience she came within this 10 years; I think both of us really enjoyed working with each other.”

Rajkumar Hirani: Anushka Sharma is playing a biographer, to whom Sanju convinces to write a book on him, but she doesn’t want to write.

Vicky Kaushal: There is a nostalgic feeling for me because my father played Sanjay Dutt’s body double in a film.

Dia Mirza: I have worked  with Sanjay in many films and this script is truly remarkable and now I feel more connected with Sanjay Dutt

Ranbir Kapoor: “Being an actor, it’s our job to portray every emotion perfectly on the screen”

Rajkumar Hirani: When Sanjay Dutt told me the story about his jail life, I got fascinated with his story.

Sonam Kapoor: I am very happy to work with Ranbir after 10 years.
