Actor Satish Kaushik is no more. He died in Gurugram after he suffered a heart attack. The actor passed away at 66. Anupam Kher took to his Twitter to mourn the death of his 'best friend'.

According to a report in Indian Express, the actor was visiting someone in Gurugram and it was then when his health deteriorated. He suffered a heart attack while travelling in the car. Anupam Kher confirmed the news of Kaushik’s demise, as per the report.

Taking to his Twitter, Anupam Kher, who shared a close bond of friendship with the late actor mourned his demise. He said his life will never be the same without his ‘best friend’.

Kaushik wrote, “I know “death is the ultimate truth of this world!” But I never thought in my dreams that I would write this thing about my best friend #SatishKaushik while alive. Such a sudden full stop on a friendship of 45 years!! Life will NEVER be the same without you SATISH! Om Shanti!”“

As the news about Kaushik’s death surfaces, celebrities took to their social media handles to offer condolences to the bereaved family.

The actor was last seen in the city on the occasion of Holi as he attended the party hosted by Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi. He had even shared photos of him enjoying the festival to the fullest with Akhtar, Ali Fazal, Richa Chadha and others.

The late actor was an Indian actor, director, producer, comedian, and a screenwriter. Kaushik was also an alumnus of the National School of Drama and Film and Television Institute of India. He had kick-started his acting career with theatre.
