Satyanarayan Ki Katha: Sameer Vidwans reveals why he wanted only Kartik Aaryan for this musical love saga

On Wednesday, Kartik Aaryan announced his new film titled Satyanarayan Ki Katha. With this musical love saga, the actor is collaborating Sajid Nadiadwala for the first time. Also, Satyanarayan Ki Kath will mark the Bollywood directorial debut of Sameer Vidwans. Previously, Sameer has made films like Anandi Gopal, Double Seat, Time Please, Mala Kahich Problem Naahi. He recently opened up on why he feels Kartik is the best choice for Satyanarayan Ki Katha.

Speaking to SpotboyE, Sameer Vidwans revealed that he has been working on the script of Satyanarayan Ki Katha for around two years. And he was elated when both Kartik and Sajid loved his script. Revealing why he only wanted Kartik for this film, Sameer told the entertainment portal, “Satyanarayan Ki Katha is again a unique moving love story. It will bring out a facet of Kartik Aaryan’s talent which audiences haven’t seen so far. Kartik is an immensely talented actor. I wanted only him  for this role.”

Finally commenting on the film’s female lead, Sameer said that he is still in the process of hunting. The filmmaker also revealed that the film might go on the floors during winters this year.

As Kartik, Sajid and Sameer are collaborating for the first time, it has to be seen what magic they create on the silver screen. And we hope the filmmaker’s hunt for an actress opposite Kartik comes to an end soon. Until then you guys stay tuned to this space.
