“Shah Rukh Khan Is The GOAT” Says Sophie Turner; GoT Star Showers Love On Deepika Padukone, Bollywood

Sophie Turner has made a name for herself globally and it’s thanks to her portrayal of Sansa Stark in the HBO show Game Of Thrones. The actress – who gained further love and recognition for playing Jean Grey/Phoenix in the X-Men film Dark Phoenix, recently got candid about her love for Bollywood. Sophie Turner Showers Love On Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone

During a recent interaction with Firstpost, Sophie Turner opened up about her love for Bollywood and its actors. Talking about her favourites in the Hindi film industry, the ‘X-Men’ actress said, “My gosh, that’s tough! I mean, Shah Rukh Khan is the GOAT, right? But I love Deepika Padukone, I think she’s amazing. I loved watching RRR.”

Opening up about her desire to star in a Bollywood film, the ‘Game Of Thrones’ actress continued, “I’d actually love to be in a Bollywood movie. I’d love to do the dance. I think it’s such a spectacle and they’re so beautiful. The production design is so unlike anything I think we will ever see on a Western film set. I’d love to be in a Bollywood movie.”

While Sophie expressed her interest in doing a Bollywood film, the actress has already visited India once. The actress came to the country to attend the wedding of her ex-brother-in-law, Nick Jonas and global star, Priyanka Chopra.

Hollywood Stars Shower Love On SRK

Sophie Turner is not the only Hollywood star to shower love on Indian actors, especially Shah Rukh Khan. In 2013, Harry Potter dame Daniel Radcliffe also praised the Badshah of Bollywood. He was quoted saying, “Shah Rukh Khan is really famous in Britain and I’m really fond of him. He is definitely an epitome of style and class!” In 2011, Twilight actress Kristen Stewart revealed she’s a ‘big fan of Shah Rukh Khan.’ She added, “He is an epitome of romance in Bollywood. I would love to work with him in Bollywood movies too, and for that I am also looking forward to learning Hindi.”

Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hiddleston, John Cena, Hugh Jackman, Terry Crews, Lady Gaga and many more stars have also praised Shah Rukh Khan in the past.
