The assistant director of Salman Khan starrer 'Sultan'

Salman Khan starrer ‘Sultan’ is all set to hit the theatres on the 6th of July and the movie already has quite a buzz surrounding it. After Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’, which was about to release on the same date, backed out, here is another film which too is not ready to take ‘panga’ with the ‘Bhai.’

Steven Spielberg’s ‘The BFG’ has apparently taken a step back and opted for a different release date. The movie, which was scheduled to July 1, five days before ‘Sultan’, will now release on the 15th of July. ‘The BFG’ is a big screen adaptation of the beloved Roald Dahl children’s novel.

Even though no official confirmation for the same has come out yet from the film’s co-producers Reliance Entertainment, sources said to DNA, “Nobody wants to take a panga with Salman”. Adds the source, “Shah Rukh Khan was determined to share the Eid release date with Salman, but finally opted out of the clash. It would seem that even someone of Spielberg’s stature would have to wait his turn, than take a chance against Salman’s ‘Sultan’, head-on.”

Salman Khan’s terror is international it seems.
