Pic: After Deepika, Shahid Kapoor to get immortalised at Madame Tussauds

Yesterday, everyone was in a state of surprise as Deepika Padukone announced that she would be getting waxed at Madame Tussauds Delhi and London. To those who have come in late, the actress had initially posted a picture on her Instagram regarding a big announcement. Exactly 15 minutes after, the ‘Ram Leela’ actress declared about her statue to be placed at Tussauds via Facebook Live.

While we were still jumping over this good news, there came yet another surprise from Shahid Kapoor through his Instagram post. Yes, Shahid too is getting immortalised at the famous Madame Tussauds. However, it is not known whether his statue will be placed in Delhi or London. Well, by the time the location is fixed, let us enjoy the fact that one more celebrity from our Hindi film industry will be waxed at the famous museum.

Coming back to Shahid’s Instagram post, the ‘Udta Punjab’ actor shared the picture along with a caption, “Keep an eye out. Coming soon.”

Nevertheless, speaking about his work front, the actor will next be seen in ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ opposite Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam. The film, directed by Shree Narayan Singh, will hit the silver screens on September 21. ‘BGMC’ will lock horns with Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Manmarziyan’ which is helmed by Anurag Kashyap.
